只要打開引擎蓋，看看剎車油壺的液面高低，要不低于下限。在未檢查剎車油液面高度時，不可添加剎車油，以免添加過量，而使剎車油噴灑至高溫引擎，導致機件腐蝕甚至起火燃燒。如果剎車油中起了氣泡，或油變臟了，就表示剎車油已經變質了，請盡快更換，以免剎車油沸點降低產生氣泡，造成剎車效果變差，容易發生危險。
